Fashion Show Auditions at Cameo

Fashion Show Auditions were held at Cameo for two major Fashion Shows to be held in April of this year. Deborah Hodgins from the Daffodil Tea Show and Joan Heaton from the Hospice Show in total chose over 25 Cameo Models. Congratulations to all of our models that auditioned as they did a great job!! The Daffodil Tea Show will be held April 1st at the Delta Kitchener and the Hospice Show will be held on April. 16th at Bingeman's.

Guelph Model Search Winners & Finalists

Thanks to Stone Rd. Mall we had an amazing Model Search for MAG Canada. We had just under 100 contestants and dozens of Winners and Finalists that will be attending MAG 2008, the week end of June 6 and 7 at the Rennaisance Toronto Airport. We will be having workshops with all of our Models and Actors after March Break. Congratulations to all of our winners and finalists!!!

Visit to Korean Agencies

Cameo's director Joan Heaton, recently visited Seoul, Korea to scout out agencies for our models. She was impressed with the agencies and the high fashion work that they were doing. Seoul is an ultra modern city of 12 million people. Cameo's models are looking forward to visiting this beautiful city!!!

Cameo Model and Acting Showcase

All of our Models and Actors at our Showcase were surprised to find out that our special guest was no other than Rebecca Hardy, Canada's Next Top Model They had so much fun posing with Rebecca and asking her about her year so farf!!!!

Elmer Olsen's Boot Camp 2 Bigtime

Recently I had the pleasure to be invited to Elmer Olsen's "Boot Camp 2 Bigtime", along with Cameo model Kayla Watson and her parents.. Aspiring models from Elmer's agency in Toronto learned what to expect in the Modelling industry. They had intensive workshops on different topics, such as a healthy fit body by personal trainers Marty and Chris Smith, skincare by experts in the business, as well as make-up and hair.
They also learned how to walk the runway. The week end at the Metroplitan Hotel in Toronto ended with a great fashion show at the Guvernment's Night Club. All of the models were interviewed by top International Model Agencies from all over the world. Thanks to Elmer we had a chance to learn from the best!

Summer Camp at Cameo

Cameo had three successful weeks of Summer Camp!!! The students learned all the latest info on Runway routines, Photo Poses, Acting techniques and how to look like a model!! They also had a lot of fun!!!! They are going to strut their stuff at Cameo's Model and Acting Showcase to be held at the Delta Kitchener September 9th in the Delta Kitchener Ballroom!

Canada's Next Top Model

The highlight of the Summer was Cameo's Rebecca Hardy winning the title of Canada's Next Top Model presented by CityTV.
